TabTrade Broker Review - The Good and the Catch

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.

The Software

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would round things out once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.

Everything in one place, covering the full fee table, tab trade withdrawal policies, and tabtrade review regulatory details, tab trade is at Trade The Day.
